Cognitive Analytic Therapy Cymru Limited (CAT Cymru) is a professional organisation providing training services to NHS professionals across Wales.

They needed a professional, bilingual website (English and Welsh) that was both public facing and offered services to it’s members in a private area of the site.

We were able to help them navigate the range of multilingual solutions available in WordPress, and help them design and build their member’s area.

We also offered support along the way to navigate the world of domains, hosting, backups and support to get a long term solution that works for them and their budget.

Maya Vision International
Maya Vision International make films and documentaries across all media platforms, from broadcast television to theatrical to charity and online.

Maya Vision International’s programs are trusted and celebrated internationally, winning some of television’s top awards, many of which are with the acclaimed historian and broadcaster, Michael Wood.

They came to us needing their exiting WordPress stack updated to run supported versions of software, and to simply just work properly for them.

This involved replacing the old theme with a new, modern theme for the site, while maintaining the established organisational brand.

At the same time we were able to clarify that the site’s main purposes are to:
- make it easy for visitors to access specific content and categories of content.
- contact the client about your existing programming
- contact the client for future projects.
We managed to update all the software while retaining the existing site content, and creating a look and feel that showcases the content well.

The new site uses as much of the core WordPress functionality as possible so that it will remain easily up gradable and compatible with future versions of the software.

Fund for International Cooperative Development

Fund for International Cooperative Development is a fund for cooperatives, led by cooperatives.

Their mission is to support cooperatives worldwide in rebuilding after crises and fostering peace through the power of cooperation.

They needed a simple website that could allow people to sign up for updates, take payments and integrate with CiviCRM.

We’re were able to support this development in time for an important deadline.

Cumbrian Railway Association

Cumbrian Railway Association needed a new website to replace their well loved, but out of date existing website.

Created in PHP and full of hand crafted content over many years, this was quite a challenge to map all the content and the functionality of the site and to then port it into a modern CMS as requested by the client.

They chose WordPress as the platform as a number of their members have experience with it, and they were keen to be able to manage the site themselves.

We managed to balance a number of competing requirements for the project and completed the entire migration within budget.

The site remains the go-to place for anyone searching for anything to do with Cumbrian railways with a host of resources, information, documents and photographs.

Members have access to a wider range of services and resources than non-members, and the organisation is able to sell and take payment for publications and other goods and items, including membership and events.

European Services Strategy Unit

The European Services Strategy Unit provides detailed research and analysis to bring about social justice through the provision of good quality public services.

The website is nearly 20 years old, and was using a lot of out of date code on an outdated platform.

We helped them manage a full upgrade, preserving decades worth of material, to get a fully working, and future proofed site online.

We continue to work with the organisation to make sure their important content is easily found by people interested in their work.

Bingley Arts Centre

We recently carried out a redesign of the Bingley Arts Centre website.

We worked collaboratively with the Arts Centre team to work through a number of design and functionality challenges on a tight budget.

Our approach is not to tie people into a dependency on us, so the new site is on WordPress, and although it involved some custom code and set up, all of that is documented, meaning it should be easily picked by new developers should the need arise.

ASSIST Sheffield

ASSIST needed an upgrade from Drupal 7 to 9 on a tight budget.

Volunteers had been keeping the site running and were in the process of decoupling a CiviCRM instance from the website itself.

We helped by upgrading the site so that it looks and feels just like the old one. This involved recreating the theme, as well as migrating al the content.
